We got to 43°C here in Porto Alegre on the thursday, then all hell broke loose when the rain started and flooded everything... Again! TV treated us to images of people in boats and cars being dragged away by the waters as usual, but now that it's stopped raining, and the temperatures and water level have dropped, it's actually kinda nice.
My feet even feel a little a chilly!

We've had summer floods probably three out of the last five years here, unfortunately the humidity hangs around, making it mighty uncomfortable to clean up

That's not too bad, I thought it was going to be typical Brisvegas humidity.
Rather pleasant in Sydney though.
